Last season, he managed a decent 8 goals and 10 assists in 39 games, while in his big 2003/04 season, he contributed 14 goals and 13 assists for 27 points in just 36 games.
And this has been mostly as a winger, not as a forward. With this in mind, I would expect Huckerby to bring massive help to Toronto FC's struggling offence. Do not be surprised if can can contribute a goal or assist every 2 games and perhaps rank among the league leaders in points from a non-striker. Are we picking up a player that could be injured for a number of games during our season (a la almost everyone on the team last year) or is this just posing on Norwich's part? Could the doctor be doing physicals instead of injections?

http://www.canaries.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1226566,00.htmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6647643771369878970.post-58828556345973632562008-01-28T08:31:00.000-05:002008-01-28T08:31:00.000-05:00Rumour update - Both the Guardian in the UK and Th...Rumour update - Both the Guardian in the UK and The Globe and Mail soccer blog with Ben Knight have talked about Huckerby. Too bad the Guardian is sending him to the Toronto Fire.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07141714969657943346noreply@blogger.com
