RSL beat Chicago Fire in penalty kicks
Real Salt Lake will meet LA Galaxy in next weekend's MLS Cup. RSL defeated Chicago in Chicago after defeating Columbus in Columbus, so they sure qualified the hard way. Yet it is hard to cheer for the team that made the playoffs because of Toronto's collapse in New York.

The NFL has nothing on the MLS for parity! Just think, TFC could very well have been in the cup final in the place of Real! Well, if it wasn't for all the infighting, incompetence and lack of committment.
In other news, I take it that because the club website mentions the rumour of Preki being the new coach that it's a done deal? Has the website ever mentioned a rumour before? Has it just been for confirmed announcements?
